Almost 100 years young since its incorporation in 1909, the City of Bothell Washington has become a vibrant city that attracts visitors to its tree-lined Burke-Gilman Trail along the river for walking and cycling, to its fascinating wetlands habitat and its interesting historical museum, as well as its many eclectic shops, restaurants, and national-quality hotels. Country Village, for example, features dozens of quaint shops, cafes, a beautiful strolling park, and even a small train. It has been a popular destination for many, many years.
Major events throughout the year also draw visitors to Bothell: the Garden Show in the spring, the Freedom Festival in summer, Riverfest in early fall, and holiday celebrations at the Park at Bothell Landing, Country Village, and throughout the community in winter.
Bothell offers the best of everything to travelers who want to experience all facets of the Pacific Northwest. Close to Woodinville wineries and the Cascades Mountains to the east, the ferries of Puget Sound to the west, and just two hours north to Canada or two hours south to Mount Rainier, Bothell is the ideal hub for any Western Washington visit.
The city boasts one of the best school districts in the state of Washington.
